Rangamati Hill District:

Rangamati Hill District consists of 10 Upazilas, 48 unions, 159 Mouzas, 1347 villages and two Pourashavas. The Upazillas are Rangamati Sadar, Kaptai, Kowkhali, Rajastali, Bilaichari, Langadu, Naniarchar, Juraichari, Barkal & Baghaichari. Each Upazila has a police station. Besides these, a new police station named Chandraghona has been set up in Kaptai Upazila. Out of total 159 Mouzas, 155 Headmen (head of mouza) & 1030 Karbari (head of village), are assisting the administration specially in the matter of traditional land revenue system.
